This temporary position is for 8-9 months.

Position Summary:
This role will support the Global Head of Human Resources, Executive Committee (ExCo) and Heads of Departments in the provision of HR services to support all employees globally. The role-holder will play a support role in executing the HR Strategy in conjunction with the Global Head of Human Resources as well as assisting with key functions within a busy global HR team. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.          Assist with executing the HR Strategy in line with the Company’s Strategic Imperatives e.g. L&D, Reward Management, Performance Management, Inclusion and Diversity and Employee Engagement.
2.          Manage allocated Recruitment and Selection exercises using headhunting skills to find the best talent whilst ensuring there are cost savings.
3.          Effectively manage employee relations issues globally as they arise e.g. performance, conduct, absence and grievance.
4.          Assist with conducting an annual Employee Survey, analyse the results, develop report to include recommendations for improvements to ExCo.
5.          Support Human Resources transactional activities which includes, but is not limited to, contractual changes, notification to employees and updating relevant systems, absence management, ensuring leavers / offboarding takes place efficiently and effectively and also the management of probationary periods.
6.          Maintain policies and procedures that ensure the company remains fully compliant of relevant global legislation, keeping under constant review on, at least, an annual basis or in light of legislative changes.  Ensure such policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the company.
7.          Develop strong and trusted relationships with employees from all levels within the organisation and provide managers with objective coaching and expert advice in all aspects of Human Resources.

General Education and Experience:
1.       Education –BSc Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Studies / Management and have CIPD Level 5 and Membership of CIPD. 
2.       Specialist Skills: 5+ years’ experience of working at a strategic level within a Human Resources Department.
3.       Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all areas of HR to include, but not limited to training, performance management, employee relations, employee benefits, reward and recognition etc.
4.       In-depth knowledge of UK and Ireland Employment law and experience of working with dispersed global teams is preferred.
5.       Experience with in dealing with Global Complex Employee Relations issues is preferred.
6.       Excellent influencing, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders, both within and out with the company.
7.       Must be very detail oriented and have highly effective time management and organizational skills in order to manage multiple competing priorities.
8.       Very experienced with MS Office, particularly, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
