We are seeking a dedicated Medical Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations of our medical team (including 1 polyclinic, 2 satellite clinics, and a teleconsultation team), ensure consistent medical quality, and collaborate with other departments — especially operations and marketing — to support business and service growth. This role is responsible for managing doctors, maintaining clinical standards, and supporting clinic-wide initiatives. The Medical Manager will act as a bridge between the medical team and the operations/marketing departments, promoting smooth collaboration and continuous improvement
Descriptions of Job duties:
1. Team Supervision and Doctor Management
Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of full-time and part-time doctors in the clinic.
Monitor attendance, schedules, and workload to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Provide guidance to doctors and escalate complex cases or issues to senior medical leaders if needed.
2. Medical Quality and Compliance
Monitor the quality of clinical services to ensure compliance with medical protocols, safety standards, and Ministry of Health regulations.
Conduct regular audits of medical records and consultations; provide feedback for improvement.
Ensure doctors follow updated medical guidelines and clinic procedures.
3. Interdepartmental Collaboration
Work closely with the Head of Branch Operations to align medical team performance with clinic goals.
Collaborate with non-medical teams (e.g., customer service, lab, operations, Marketing) to resolve patient issues or workflow bottlenecks.
Support administrative teams with medical knowledge when needed for operational or compliance tasks.
4. Support Marketing and Service Promotion
Coordinate with the Marketing team to validate medical content and provide expert input on promotional materials and campaigns.
Participate in internal/external health awareness activities, seminars, or online health talks organized by the clinic.
Provide medical team support for new service launches or seasonal campaigns.
5. Training and Continuous Improvement
Assist in the onboarding of new doctors and organize regular training on clinical guidelines and service protocols.
Encourage peer learning and support knowledge-sharing among medical team members.
Identify recurring clinical or service-related issues and propose improvement actions to the Head of Branch Operations.
6. Financial and Non-Financial Clinic Performance
Collaborate with the operations team to monitor and support clinic and doctor performance, including revenue growth, patient volumes, service utilization, and cost control.
Motivate the medical team to contribute to both financial targets and service excellence goals.
Identify and help implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and resource use without compromising care quality
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD) with certification in a clinical specialty.
- Minimum of 54 months of experience as a practicing doctor, with certification from the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City.
- Prior experience supervising a medical team or coordinating medical staff is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical regulations, patient care protocols, and healthcare service delivery.
- Experience in telemedicine/teleconsultation services is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to mentor and train clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with both medical and non-medical departments.
- English language skills (basic to intermediate) are a plus.
