Supply Finance Analyst is responsible for providing financial oversight and insights for Supply Chain operations, including procurement, inventory, logistics, and production. This position acts as a bridge between the Lab, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure cost efficiency, effective controls, and alignment with overall business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Frequent tasks: 90%
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, stock movements, turnover, returns, shelf life, expiry, and write-offs.
- Support monthly review of inventory consumption and investigate variances with relevant teams.
- Participate in ordering reviews of inventory to ensure alignment with demand planning and financial targets.
- Review of product mapping and cost-per-test calculations.
- Ensure accurate and timely Bill of Materials (BOM) mapping in the ERP system.
- Review purchase requests from Laboratory and QA teams to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Identify inefficiencies in supply operations and propose cost optimization initiatives.
- Track and report savings from procurement negotiations and process improvements.
- Conduct monthly supply-demand forecasts for high-risk items.
- Ad-hoc tasks: 10%
- Perform financial analysis for special projects, audits, or management inquiries.
- Other financial tasks as assigned by the Head of Finance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience in a Finance role, preferably with exposure to Supply Chain or Production. Laboratory/Medical knowledge is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to details and ability to work with large, complex data sets.
- Familiarity with inventory, procurement, and BOM processes is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus.
