How you'll make a difference:

    • Coordinate and manage the technical project delivery workplans to align with the project schedule for all project sizes and typologies 
    • Resolve complex design and technical challenges; providing technical expertise in the detailed design of buildings for all project sizes and typologies, including large or complex projects 
    • Proficiency in preparing contract drawings, coordinating specifications, schedules, concept, detailed design and construction documents, with accuracy from concept to execution. 
    • Provide leadership and direction to team members to develop in-house expertise and methodologies (technical and quality standards, etc.) to advance the group and the efficiency and effectiveness of our architectural work. 
    • Lead the building of architectural BIM models, starting in Concept/Schematic Design and through all design and construction phases. 
    • Lead the coordination of the technical aspects of the project design across all involved disciplines and sub-consultants. 
    • Support our contract administration team through the construction phase, including discipline coordination and working with Clients, Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and Contractors where required. 

Who you are:

    • You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as an architectural technologist, including a minimum of 5 years as a Job Captain overseeing technical production on large complex projects. 
    • You possess strong Revit skills and working knowledge of AutoCAD 
    • You have achieved a diploma in Architectural technology 
    • You have a strong knowledge of building codes, building construction systems, building materials and specifications 
    • You have significant experience overseeing technical production and contract administration of medium-large projects (>$100 million construction value) with minimal supervision, including discipline coordination and working with Clients, Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and Contractors directly where required 
    • Strong leadership experience in directing the work of the team on multiple projects 
    • You have honed visual/graphic, written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
