How you'll make a difference:
- Work collaboratively and provide guidance to project teams in designing lighting, power, security, fire alarm, communications, and data infrastructure systems for various types of buildings
- Work with architects, interior designers, structural and mechanical engineers to create integrated and highly-sustainable design solutions for a wide variety of building types
- Prepare high quality BIM (Revit) models and renderings
- Ownership and full-scope leadership of small to medium complexity projects
- Preparation of documents required for approvals, development and construction cost estimates, and tender documents and contracts
- Write specifications, schedules, and technical reports, and manage schedules and budgets
- Provide Contract Administration support for electrical engineering projects
Who you are:
- A Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required
- A P.Eng, P.Tech or P.L.Eng designation is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering consulting
- Demonstrated experience in project planning, design, technical production and contract administration
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess BIM expertise and who are proficient at using Revit software
- Energetic and self-motivated, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
Nice to have:
- Experience with Bluebeam and Onware
- Experience in healthcare design
- LEEP AP credential
