How you'll make a difference:
- Create and develop innovative design concepts, solutions while working collaboratively with a team during concept design, space planning, schematic design and design development
- Produce pre-design, design and technical drawings on all phases of a project
- Participate in the technical development of projects during construction documents
- Resolve technical and design issues with the assistance of a Senior Architect
- Maintain clear communication and coordination within internal team members and clients
- Support the continued development of the architectural in-house design production expertise and methodologies
- Coordinate and attend project construction meetings including involvement in client and design meetings
- Coach and mentor junior team members
Who you are:
- Between 5-7 years architectural production/design experience
- Intern Architect or Registered Architect with OAA preferred
- Professional Degree in Architecture (does not need to be Canadian School)
- Previous design experience in Mixed-Use/Residential projects
- Experience using Revit
- Proficiency in 3D modeling parametric modeling and visualization using Rhino, Grasshopper and Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is an asset
- Strong visual and graphic communication skills
- Team oriented and committed collaborator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
