We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Lead Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Mexico. This on-site role is responsible for ensuring all fine jewelry products meet our brand’s exacting standards before reaching clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in jewelry manufacturing and inspection, with a hands-on approach to quality control and a problem-solving mindset.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections on finished jewelry to ensure alignment with brand quality, design specifications, and craftsmanship standards
- Document and track quality issues, coordinating directly with vendors for timely resolution and rework when needed
- Manage the repairs and returns process, ensuring accurate documentation, inspection upon return, and timely client updates
- Collaborate with fulfillment and client experience teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure approved products are shipped
- Maintain and continuously improve quality control processes, checklists, and inventory accuracy through ERP and order management systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of quality control experience in the fine jewelry industry is required
- Strong understanding of jewelry construction, manufacturing workflows, and quality inspection techniques
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Shopify, and logistics platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- GIA certification or relevant training is a plus; must thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
$350,000 - $400,000 a year
