We are looking for an IT Data Systems Technician to help setup and support our Trujillo, Spain manufacturing location. This position will be focused on service desk, systems and networking support, along with operating and implementing a set of security tools. Our manufacturing process is highly data driven, and our IT equipment makes that possible by following the material from end to end.  You'll be working with an experienced team of mechanical, electrical, metrology, and software engineers; both with the help of our US based IT team, assisting engineers and pushing IT projects to completion. Your goal will be to achieve maximum efficiency to our IT services through supporting our users, endpoints, data systems, clear and intuitive procedures, and ensuring maximum automation of information systems while maintaining a high degree of security. This position will report to the Spain IT Manager and will be instrumental in bringing a new manufacturing site to life.

Responsibilities

    • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
    • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security settings.
    • Collaborate with end users to support troubleshooting, technology rollouts, and service desk needs.
    • Maintain clear, accessible documentation to support team knowledge sharing and system usability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations.

Requirements

    • Minimum Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field required; equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education.
    • At least 3 years of experience in IT Networking or IT Systems administration.
    • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required; German is a plus.
    • Preferred background in enterprise IT environments.
    • Familiarity with a subset of the following: Microsoft technologies, Basic UNIX/Linux system administration, Google Workspace productivity tools, layer 1 networking, on-premises server experience (preferred)
