We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in systems software development to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer (Systems), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems for semiconductor manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of semiconductor technology and make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop software solutions for semiconductor manufacturing systems, focusing on automation, data analysis, and process optimization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and process engineers to integrate software solutions into semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
    • Lead the architecture and implementation of software systems to control and monitor semiconductor fabrication processes, ensuring high reliability and efficiency.
    • Provide technical expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and best practices to improve the overall efficiency and quality of software solutions.
    • Support the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance of software systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development focus on systems software in the semiconductor industry.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and/or Java, with experience in real-time and embedded systems development.
    • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry standards (e.g., SEMI standards).
    • Experience with database management systems, virtual machines, Docker, including database design, VirtualBox, VMware, containerization, Docker Compose, and CI/CD integration
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in teams, and strong communication skills.
$130,000 - $184,000 a year
Position is eligible for company shares. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and expertise. We will also consider higher level candidates and salary will be adjusted accordingly.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:
-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist,  climb, balance, stoop, squat,  kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions. 
-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs
-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls
-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
