We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

As the Director of Business Development, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence driving revenue growth through the development of semiconductor business opportunities. Your primary objective will be to utilize your deep understanding of thermal management and chip packaging, identify and pursue strategic partnerships and sales channels, and position our company as the leader in this domain.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to target key customers, markets, and applications within the semiconductor industry.
    • Drive strategic decision-making, identifying business opportunities using emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in thermal packaging for semiconductors. 
    • Establish strategic partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders driving mutually beneficial agreements to drive business growth.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers, providing technical expertise ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure the delivery of innovative and competitive products.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science with 8 + years of demonstrated success in business development, product management, and strategic partnerships with a concentration on thermal management solutions.
    • Expertise with thermal management technologies related to chips and cloud computing.
    • Relationships with the semiconductor ecosystem including foundries.
    • Strong network and existing relationships with key players including semiconductor manufacturers, packaging suppliers, and research institutions.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders through market data analysis, trends, and effective business strategies.
$195,000 - $360,000 a year
Position is eligible for company shares. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and location. We will also consider higher-level candidates and salary will be adjusted accordingly.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:
-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist,  climb, balance, stoop, squat,  kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions. 
-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs
-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls
-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
