Digital Matter is a leading data and digital media consultancy that empowers brands to take control of their digital marketing. We provide consulting and services in the areas of business transformation, privacy-first data strategy, and digital media buying.
The company is headquartered in New York. We are currently looking for a Director, Paid Search, to manage search, display, and shopping campaigns in support of Digital Matter’s expanding Paid Search division. 
 
 
The Role 
As the Director, Paid Search you will be responsible for the key client engagements inclusive of search, shopping, display, and video placements. 

Responsibilities

    • Manage execution and performance of search, shopping, display, and video advertising campaigns through the full account management life cycle
    • Serve as the key player in kick-off meetings, client relationship management, ad-serving, tech stack implementation, campaign optimization, and quarterly business planning
    • Develop and grow relationships with client-side stakeholders to ascertain business needs and craft the best strategic and tactical approach
    • Advise clients on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and how this impacts them
    • Partner cross-functionally to assist with proposal responses, technical demos, and marketing efforts
    • Introduce processes and products that add value to our growing client base

Requirements

    • At least 7 years of account management experience in the online advertising space, whether at a publisher, agency, trading desk, technology company, or end-advertiser.
    • At least 5 years of in-account management through Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
    • Strong data analysis abilities (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and statistical analysis).
    • Excellent consultative approach when developing and managing business relationships.
    • Experience onboarding and training team members.
    • BA (Bachelor of Arts) or equivalent with an emphasis on marketing, business, or coursework of a quantitative nature; preferably a degree in Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or Statistics

$136,000 - $190,000 a year
