The Role
As the Senior Analytics Engineer, you will build data and analytics products that enable faster decision making, data democratization, and self-service functionality. These tools will deliver high-visibility dashboards and data insights to our media and consulting teams that are managing a portfolio of global retail and consumer clients.

Responsibilities

    • Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize marketing performance and key metrics 
    • Develop custom reports and visualizations to meet internal team and client needs, to support strategic decision-making 
    • Prioritize design best practices, with a strong focus on user experience 
    • Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design 
    • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various marketing platforms and sources 
    • Ensure scalable data architecture and design 
    • Review and improve existing systems and collaborate with teams to integrate new systems 
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven recommendations 
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI systems and reports 

Requirements

    • 5+ years as a BI Developer, Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar
    • Bachelor’s Degree or BS or comparable degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
    • Advanced BI development skills and knowledge of interactive data visualization best practices 
    • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases 
    • Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes 
    • Experience developing and applying predictive models and other advanced statistical approaches, preferably in a marketing, media, or retail context 
    • A strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to prioritize immediate needs and create roadmaps for future needs  
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in an understandable and actionable manner 
    • Competency in Excel for data manipulation 
$125,000 - $170,000 a year
