Common problems, as simple as performing a refund, often require multi-platform touch points for team members which is frequently solved manually in a very repetitive manner. We're looking for customer and product-obsessed entrepreneurs who want to work with a dynamic fast-moving team and build the roadmap for the Luminai rocket ship. If this is you, we are super excited to meet you and learn more.

What you'll do:

    • Manage full-cycle recruiting for all open roles at the company, including Technology, Revenue, and Operations teams
    • Own all aspects of a candidate lifecycle – including recruiter phone screens, coordinating interviews, candidate prep, and updating our applicant tracking system, Lever
    • Work with hiring managers to scope roles, identify candidate profiles, and create interview plans
    • Measure and share recruiting updates with the company
    • Attend recruiting events to engage with candidates on open roles
    • Set expectations with hiring teams and candidates on timelines, start dates, and necessary logistics
    • Give input around hiring targets, forecasting, and hiring philosophy as we refine our hiring process and candidate experience for scale
    • Post-hire, help create an engaging and thoughtful onboarding for new hires in partnership with the People team and hiring team
    • As the second hire on the People team at Luminai, you will also help with more general work across the company to built the foundation of a thriving, inclusive, and thoughtful employee and candidate experience
    • Opportunity to build out the function and scale with the company

Who we're looking for:

    • An experienced recruiter who is comfortable covering technical and non-technical hiring
    • A self-starter with experience working on a small team
    • Start up experience with a track record of scaling teams efficiently and with a high talent bar
    • A team player who is eager to help build out our growing People function in areas potentially outside of recruiting based on the needs of the business
    • A thought partner to hiring managers, interviewers, and broader team on gaps, composition, and hiring needs
    • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to iterate and adapt to rapidly evolving needs
