Digital Media Management (DMM) is a leading full service digital agency, content studio and incubator specializing in social-first, “always-entertaining” marketing. DMM works with movie studios, television networks, streaming services and consumer brands to create groundbreaking social media campaigns via fan activations, innovative content creation, results-driven paid media planning, and strategic influencer-brand partnerships.

We’re currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Los Angeles-based team. The role of the
Senior Accountant is to support the finance team across all accounting functions for DMM and its
subsidiaries. The duties include supporting Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable,
Reconciliations, Quarterly & Yearly Tax reporting, preparing and maintaining records among
other job obligations.

Your Impact

    • Full Process of Accounts Receivable including posting payments, collections and invoicing
    • Work with Sr. Directors to review monthly client billings to ensure proper invoicing
    • Full Process of Accounts Payable including processing, coding, and reviewing invoices, &
    • issuing payment to vendors
    • Maintain the accounts payable/receivable systems and files by adding new
    • invoices/vouchers, recording, and filing paid invoices/vouchers in our shared drive
    • Work with customers and vendors in an effort to monitor past due vouchers and invoices
    • and sending follow-up notices
    • Own Bank Statement reconciliations
    • Own Balance Sheet Reconciliations
    • Maintain general ledgers by preparing trial balances and reconciling entries
    • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements (Quarterly and
    • Yearly reporting)
    • Works with Directors and company staff to ensure that operational project needs are met
    • in a timely manner
    • Protects organization’s value by keeping all financial information confidential

Your Experience

    • BA/BS degree in Finance/Accounting
    • 2+ years of related work experience
    • Ability to multitask and handle detail-oriented tasks
    • Knowledge of GAAP
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    • 1 - 2 years of proficient experience with Quickbooks and experience with Quickbooks
    • Online a plus
    • Must have excellent organizational skills
    • Strong time management and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team
