SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:
 
·         Oversee the preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K, earnings releases and other regulatory filings as needed
·         Responsible for ensuring compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements, including evaluating the impact of new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations
·         Responsible for building and maintaining data flows between accounting systems and the Company’s SEC reporting tool (Workiva)
·         Work with the Corporate Controller and their teams to develop quarterly reporting timelines and disclosure templates, ensuring accurate and timely completion of disclosures
·         Oversee the preparation of schedules and documentation for SEC filings and perform tie-outs/validations of filings
·         Assist with the monthly global consolidations process, helping to manage the consolidation of multi-national entities and FX translation
·         Oversee the management of our equity administration process
·         Complete financial statement analysis in support of MD&A as requested
·         Support external audits and testing of internal controls
·         Prepare quarterly and annual disclosure checklists.
·         Assist with the preparation of earnings release tables.
·         Perform technical research and prepare technical accounting memos
·         Lead the implementation and ongoing monitoring of significant new accounting pronouncements.
·         Support the stock-based compensation administration and accounting process
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
·         Bachelor’s Degree, with emphasis in Accounting
·         Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in process of obtaining CPA license, preferred  
·         4+ years of Accounting experience, ideally including at least one year of experience in an SEC reporting/analyst  role with a public company  
·         2+ years experience successfully leading and guiding the work of a small team          
·         Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred (would consider someone directly from Big 4 if they have experience with public companies and their SEC filings)
·         Experience with Workiva and Oracle preferred, but not required
·         Solid understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations
·         Ability to manage multiple tasks
·         Self-directed, accountable with a strong attention to detail
·         Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to explain variances and reporting requirements is key  
·         Works well individually as well as in a team environment with ability to interact across functions as well as varying levels in an organization
$120,000 - $140,000 a year
