We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist who will play a critical role in managing our accounts receivable operations. Reporting to the Director, Accounts Receivable, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and proficiency in using Oracle ERP. This position is pivotal in ensuring accurate and efficient accounts receivable processes.
About the Role:
Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations.
Oracle ERP Utilization: Utilize Oracle ERP to manage accounts receivable functions, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing.
Invoicing: Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices, verifying pricing, terms, and payment details.
Cash Application: Apply customer payments accurately and promptly to outstanding invoices, resolving any discrepancies.
Collections: Monitor overdue accounts, contact customers to address payment issues, and work on collections efforts to ensure timely payments.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts, investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes, and maintain accurate records.
Aging Reports: Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, providing insights and recommendations for collections strategies.
Credit Management: Collaborate with the credit department to assess and set customer credit limits, taking into account risk factors and financial stability.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounts receivable processes, implementing best practices and automation to improve efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
A minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounts receivable experience, with expertise in Oracle ERP.
Proficiency in using Oracle ERP for accounts receivable management.
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable best practices, cash application, and collections.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex accounts receivable processes.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
