We’re looking for a highly professional and detail-oriented Lead Account Manager – Programmatic to join our team in New York. This is a strategic, client-facing role that supports our U.S. business across the entire customer lifecycle—from pre-sale pitch preparation to post-sale campaign execution and optimization. This role is based out of our NY office, serving our Americas customers and reporting to the VP, Performance. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 5 years of experience in programmatic media, with strong familiarity with DSPs such as DV360 and The Trade Desk (TTD). You’ll partner closely with Sales, Account Management, and Operations to deliver exceptional client service and technical expertise that ensures campaign success.
Note this role will be based in New York, NY. Eligible candidates must reside within a commutable distance as we are a hybrid office environment requiring an in-office presence of 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sale Support
- Join client meetings in partnership with the sales team to support strategic planning and execution
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams on RFP responses, media plans, and strategic pitch materials
- Translate client goals into actionable programmatic strategies and scalable solutionsProvide DSP insights and inventory recommendations to support proposal development
- Campaign Management, Client Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Own programmatic revenue targets, ensuring maximum campaign delivery while optimizing toward key performance metrics (CTR, VCR, CPA)
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real time, coordinating with internal teams and DSP support for timely resolution
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients by providing data-driven insights, regular performance updates, and actionable recommendations to grow the account
- Contribute to QBRs, reporting dashboards, and performance analysis to strengthen client relationships and drive campaign successLiaise with internal teams including Sales, Ad Operations, and Product to drive client success
- Mentor and guide junior account managers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence across the programmatic team
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- 5 years of online programmatic advertising experienceVery strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with DSP platforms, i.e., TTD and DV360
- Hands-on experience with PMP deals, private exchanges, and programmatic guaranteed
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
- Ability to build rapport and grow relationships both via phone and in person with all customersStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable analyzing large datasets and crafting narratives that influence customer behavior

$150,000 - $185,000 a year
At Digital Turbine, we are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. The total compensation package (base salary + performance-based commission) for this position is $150,000-185,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits structure, including RSUs/stock options, unlimited PTO as well as a tech/wellness benefit.
