The NOC Team Lead will oversee day-to-day operations of the NOC team, ensuring timely  incident management, team performance, and service delivery excellence. You will act as the primary escalation point for major incidents, mentor team members, and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.

Your day to day will consist of

    • Acting as an escalation point for critical incidents or complex issues that require deeper analysis or coordination.
    • Reviewing incident tickets, ensuring they are appropriately categorized, documented, and resolved in line with SLAs.
    • Providing coaching and feedback to team members to encourage skill development  and accountability.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, service delivery, security) to escalate or resolve systemic issues.
    • Analysing trends in alerts and incidents, identifying opportunities for automation or process optimization.
    • Supporting the rollout and operational monitoring of modern networking and security technologies, including SD-WAN, SD-Branch, SSE (e.g., SWG, ZTNA, CASB), and SASE platforms.
    • Working closely with security and infrastructure teams to manage secure access, WAN optimization, and cloud-delivered security services.
    • Reporting operational performance metrics and contributing to leadership reviews or post-mortems.
    • Supporting onboarding and training for new team members and setting a strong cultural tone.

Ideal candiadte will have

    • 4+ years in NOC or IT operations, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
    • Proven experience handling incident escalation, root cause analysis, and shift management
    • Strong understanding of network operations, system reliability, and service uptime
    • Hands-on experience supporting or managing SD-WAN solutions or cloud-based edge security technologies
    • Advanced use of monitoring platforms (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, Grafana)
    • Incident and ticket management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
    • Reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Grafana)
    • Hands-on experience with or supporting: Cisco Meraki, Catalyst, Duo, Umbrella, Secure Access
    • Logic Monitor (ideally involved in rollout)
    • Exposure to SD-WAN platforms (Cisco Viptela, Meraki SD-WAN, or Fortinet)
    • Awareness of SASE/SSE tools (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access, or similar)
