As a Web Developer, you’ll be part of a high-performing team focused on bringing these websites to life. You’ll work with strategy, content, and design teams to develop scalable, lightning-fast sites — delivering 6 websites per month, each with around 20 pages.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a productised service offering from scratch, with space to grow your impact as the service expands. If you’ve previously worked in a content-led environment, like a marketing agency or startup, that’s a strong advantage — we move fast, collaborate deeply, and value people who understand the intersection of content, design, and technology.

Responsibilities

    • Lead end-to-end development of custom-designed, AIO-optimised websites.
    • Build ~6 websites per month (20 pages each) using clean, modular code.
    • Translate Figma designs into responsive front-end code.
    • Optimise websites for AI visibility (structured data, metadata, schema).
    • Support both headless CMS and WordPress-based projects.
    • Ensure fast performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.
    • Help define reusable frameworks and scalable build processes.
    • Collaborate with strategy, content, and design teams.
    • Stay informed on the latest in AI search, web tech, and UX trends.

    • KPI’s:
    • Deliver 6 high-quality, fully functional websites per month.
    • Maintain and improve development workflow efficiency.
    • Contribute to documentation of dev stack/processes.
    • As the role expands, contribute to other internal builds and tools.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Technical Skills (Essential):
    • Strong front-end development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
    • Experience with custom coding (no-template builds).
    • Familiarity with Java, responsive frameworks, and CMS platforms.
    • AI/SEO optimisation: schema markup, metadata, structured content.
    • Proficient in Figma — able to interpret and occasionally refine designs.
    • Understanding of version control (Git), performance optimisation, site speed.
    • Ability to work across service-based websites with a design-first mindset.

    • Bonus / Nice to Have:
    • Experience with Framer (or willing to learn).
    • Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow.
    • Animation tools (e.g., GSAP, Framer Motion).
    • Understanding of content pipelines (e.g., Markdown, CMS templating).
    • UX/UI design sensibility.
    • Experience embedding AI-driven tools or interfaces.
    • Web accessibility knowledge.
    • Knowledge of privacy, compliance, and consent frameworks.

    • Soft Skills
    • High attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Strong eye for design — pixel-aware and brand-consistent.
    • Self-driven with a desire to grow and develop.
    • Comfortable multitasking in a dynamic environment.
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with content and marketing teams.
