We are seeking an experienced SharePoint / Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and implement a modern SharePoint Online intranet tailored to organizational needs. The role involves end-to-end ownership of intranet design, information architecture, data migration, security, and user experience—ensuring scalability, security, and usability.
Responsibilities
- Intranet Design & Development
- Design and develop a custom landing page aligned with branding guidelines.
- Build responsive, user-friendly layouts with intuitive navigation.
- Develop departmental pages with consistent branding, tailored layouts, and content workflows.
- Configure reusable templates to support scalability and future growth.
- Content Strategy & Governance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define departmental content requirements.
- Establish content governance frameworks and publishing workflows.
- Provide guidance on content best practices, structure, and long-term maintenance.
- Information Architecture & Data Migration
- Design document library hierarchies with metadata schemas and version control.
- Create standardized site and page architectures for diverse content types.
- Assess existing data, define migration strategy, and execute structured migration with validation.
- Optimize post-migration environments for data integrity and discoverability.
- Security & Access Management
- Implement Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Conditional Access, MFA, and compliance policies.
- Integrate Microsoft Defender and Purview for advanced protection and governance.
- Develop a permission management framework using AD/Entra groups, RBAC methodology, and SharePoint permission models.
- User Experience & Personalization
- Configure audience targeting for role-based and department-specific content.
- Implement dynamic content experiences based on user profiles and groups.
- Technical Implementation
- Leverage SharePoint Online (Modern Experience), Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Power Automate for intranet workflows.
- Optimize Microsoft 365 license utilization while ensuring compliance.
- Provide detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, security configurations, and permission matrices.
- Training & Go-Live Support
- Deliver admin and end-user training materials and sessions.
- Provide go-live deployment assistance, monitoring, and adoption support.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Power Platform).
- Proven expertise in intranet design, content governance, and user adoption strategies.
- Strong skills in information architecture, data migration, and metadata management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD security, compliance, and identity management.
- Proficiency in Power Automate workflows, modern SharePoint web parts, and customization.
- Experience in developing responsive applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and SharePoint APIs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 license optimization and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
