DISHER is partnering with a nationwide independent sales agency in their search for a talented Technical Sales Representative to join their team. This firm specializes in representing high-quality, competitively valued, custom-engineered components, assemblies, and finished products to many of the world’s largest OEMs.

What you'll get to do:

    • Identify, develop, and grow relationships with key OEM accounts across the United States.
    • Lead business development efforts by driving the sales of complex, custom components and assemblies into large, high-profile manufacturers.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor, working in-depth through Purchasing and Engineering teams to create valuable, long-term client relationships.
    • Manage projects from inception through to delivery, providing ongoing communication and support to principals and customers alike.
    • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and territory travel regularly to expand network and pipeline.
    • Practice in-depth consultative selling and professional project management.
    • Utilize advanced CRM and analytical tools to manage sales funnels and project timelines.

What will make you successful:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
    • At least 4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably technical solution-based sales in manufacturing or engineering-related markets.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative approach.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills; a proactive, self-starting attitude.
    • Technical aptitude with the ability to interpret drawings, models, and product specifications.
    • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency with LinkedIn Premium, Hoovers/ZoomInfo, or IBIS.
    • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
    • Driver's license and ability to obtain passport required
