Plumbing Designer – Grandville, Michigan
DISHER is currently partnering with a local A&E firm that specializes in helping organizations balance financial sustainability and environmental responsibility by providing design and sustainability efforts for both new construction and existing structures. They are seeking a Plumbing Designer to join their Design Team. In this role, you will serve as part of the design team by creating digital design assets on mechanical and plumbing projects.

What you will get to do:
- Create 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and Revit
- Participate in site visits and assessments
- Create 3D laser scan point clouds
- Generate Trimble field points
- Convert point cloud drawings into Revit files
- Facilitate clash detection resolution using Navisworks or similar
- Provide design solutions for systems as applicable based on MEP background and role
- Participate in conceptual development meetings with E3M team, clients, or contractors
What will make you successful:
- 3-5 years experience as a designer in an A&E or Construction setting
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with 3D Laser and/or Point Cloud Conversion preferred
- Experience with Navisworks preferred
- Ability to build trust and operate with a high level of integrity
- A focus on customer satisfaction and retention ensuring customers receive best in class products and service
- Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations
$50,000 - $75,000 a year
