DISHER is currently partnering with A dynamic and growing Glass and Glazing company based in Michigan, in their search for a Director of Operations. The Director of Operations will steer the company’s operational success and maintain its reputation for service excellence across the Midwest. This is a pivotal role within the organization offering a competitive salary with lucrative profit sharing bonuses.

What you will get to do:
- Oversee project submission for fabrication and installation
- Clarify project information and schedules
- Manage truck & equipment repair, maintenance, and staging
- Handle customer relations and general public relations
- Manage employee performance, scheduling, and education
- Oversee general maintenance including property repairs and improvements
- Monitor bid opportunities
- Review specifications, procure quotes for non-stock items, and communicate discrepancies
- Take-off & Quote preparation
- Write and review proposals, noting any specification conflicts or alternates.
- Provide contact information for queries and follow up on proposals.
- Review and contrast contract discrepancies
- Ensure accurate project information for fabrication & installation
- Review product inventory and current accounts
- Manage purchasing and order placement
- Troubleshoot and resolve procurement conflicts

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the Glass and Glazing industry
