What you will get to do:

    • Drive engineering excellence and performance management for controls/software groups
    • Lead talent development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
    • Establish and enforce standardized processes and best practices to enhance team efficiency
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to support sales, project management, and executive leadership
    • Lead research into emerging technologies and drive innovation
    • Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and meet chargeability targets
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with outsourced resources
    • Participate in critical project milestone reviews using Stage-Gate Methodology
    • Develop reporting tools for team resourcing and project execution performance
    • Assist in creating unique solutions to enhance offerings and drive sales

What will make you successful:

    • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
    • At least 10 years of engineering leadership experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation and robotics
    • Passion for motivating and developing team members while promoting company values
    • Proficiency in explaining detailed engineering concepts to a wide audience
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of solutions
    • Direct experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, robotics, and AGV/AMRs
    • Proficiency in cycle time analysis, process breakdowns, and developing critical requirements
    • Experience with FANUC Roboguide, ABB RobotStudio, Visual Components, and IGNITION
    • Knowledge of equipment design standards (ANSI, CSA, OSHA, CE, etc.)
    • Ability to lead and inspire engineering teams to meet deadlines and budgets while maintaining quality
    • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
