DISHER is currently partnering with a next-generation lithium-ion battery company headquartered in Indianapolis, IN—to find a skilled Process Technician. What you will get to do:
- Set up, clean, and maintain production equipment for processes like mixing, coating, calendaring, slitting, punching, and assembly
- Work alongside engineers to meet daily and weekly production goals
- Provide guidance and training to Production Associates on proper equipment use
- Perform minor mechanical repairs and assist with basic electrical/control system tasks
- Record and monitor key quality and process measurements
- Maintain accurate inventory of tools, supplies, and materials
- Follow customer-driven product specs and quality standards
- Keep clear documentation of production output and activity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to a culture of safety
What will make you successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred
- 2–4 years of hands-on machine setup experience in manufacturing (battery or precision manufacturing is a plus)
- Familiarity with process equipment in a high-tech manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow detailed SOPs and contribute to documentation
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs. and performing physical tasks (standing, squatting, climbing, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and team-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
