DISHER is currently partnering with a next-generation lithium-ion battery company headquartered in Indianapolis, IN—to find a skilled Process Technician. What you will get to do:

    • Set up, clean, and maintain production equipment for processes like mixing, coating, calendaring, slitting, punching, and assembly
    • Work alongside engineers to meet daily and weekly production goals
    • Provide guidance and training to Production Associates on proper equipment use
    • Perform minor mechanical repairs and assist with basic electrical/control system tasks
    • Record and monitor key quality and process measurements
    • Maintain accurate inventory of tools, supplies, and materials
    • Follow customer-driven product specs and quality standards
    • Keep clear documentation of production output and activity
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
    • Support continuous improvement and contribute to a culture of safety

What will make you successful:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred
    • 2–4 years of hands-on machine setup experience in manufacturing (battery or precision manufacturing is a plus)
    • Familiarity with process equipment in a high-tech manufacturing environment
    • Ability to follow detailed SOPs and contribute to documentation
    • Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
    • Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs. and performing physical tasks (standing, squatting, climbing, etc.)
    • Excellent attention to detail and team-oriented mindset
    • Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
