DISHER is currently partnering with a local leader in commercial construction to fill the role of Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager will provide project leadership and management for large, complex construction projects from design through closeout including managing complex relationships and construction processes. This person will take the lead to ensure projects are completed with timeliness, budget, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in mind.

What you will get to do:

    • Effectively lead project processes and meetings from project conception to completion, including the project kick-off, site-specific safety plan implementation/enforcement, progress meetings, owner/architect/contractor meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, mobilization, exit strategy, punch-list, closeout, etc.
    • Hold Safety as the highest priority, demonstrating a Safety-First approach consistently from initial project planning, through buy-out and completion.
    • Maintain effective communication with external and internal project teams, trade partners, field staff, and client, while escalating necessary information in a timely fashion. This also includes presenting and explaining proposals, status updates, schedules, etc. to clients.
    • Ensure the permitting, insurance, notice to proceed, subcontracts, etc. are in order.
    • Direct, review, or approve project design changes while demonstrating effective estimating skills necessary for the project.
    • Maintain an accurate and up to date budget for each assigned project.
    • Coordinate with jobsite Superintendent any changes to the scope of work and resolve any issues that arise.
    • Effectively prequalify all trade partners and suppliers prior to awarding subcontracts and submit change orders with cost breakdown and appropriate backup information to Owners/Architects for authorized signatures before proceeding with implementation of the change in work.

What Will Make You Successful:

    • 7+ years actively managing multi-family mixed use or industrial heavy process projects
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or other relevant Engineering or Technical field required
    • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work as a team
    • Genuine and responsible approach to work, following through with required tasks and working for the success of the team and organization.
    • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations
