Maintenance Technician – Westfield, Indiana
DISHER is currently partnering with a U.S.-based company specializing in innovative, tobacco-free pouches designed to deliver energy and serve as an alternative to chewing tobacco. The company is searching for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for supporting facility operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all building and production equipment remain in peak working condition.

What you will get to do:
- Responsible for ensuring maintenance activities and preventative maintenance completed meets the company Food Safety, Quality & Legal requirements.
- Making sure that employees work safely and are properly trained.
- Coordinate plant activities with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage parts and ordering of supplies needed to ensure plant continually runs for production needs.
- Responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, and related systems and equipment.
- Utilize problem solving skills to ensure installations, services, and repairs are completed to minimize production disruptions Requirements.
- Responsible for creating a Preventative Maintenance Plan and Parts Reorder Schedule, and any supporting documentation needed to regularly follow this plan.
What will make you successful:
- Education High School Diploma or GED Experience. A related technical degree would be preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance specializing in mechanical and electrical work on industrial equipment in a manufacturing facility.
- Experience in food manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ability to multi-task and balance various activities and projects throughout the day.
- Effective Communicator throughout all levels of the organization.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
