Financial Manager - Wilmington, NC

DISHER is currently partnering with a manufacturing company in Wilmington, North Carolina in their search for a Financial Manager. The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the organization while also undertaking limited Human Resources responsibilities.

What you'll get to do:

    • Manage month-end closing process including reconciliation of all related balance sheet accounts.
    • Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements including all internal and external reporting to management, parent company, and financial institutions.
    • Coordinating the year-end audit and tax return for preparation of audited financial statements and related tax compliance.
    • Manage the accounting operations including the journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and statutory reporting.
    • Provide advice and guidance on all accounting matters including financial systems, record keeping, analysis, and reporting.
    • Administer payroll, 401K, and insurance.
    • Develop and administer HR policies and procedures when directed.
    • Other related duties when required or assigned.

What will make you successful:

    • 3-5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management.
    • Audit experience is strongly preferred.
    • CPA or CMA.
    • HR experience preferred.
    • Experience with major ERP system. Knowledge of Microsoft AX/Dynamics software is preferred.
    • Good organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • International business experience is an advantage.
