Manufacturing Engineer – Zeeland, Michigan
DISHER is currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in project management. As a part of the team, you will get to partner with a variety of customers on manufacturing and project-based work. As a Manufacturing engineer, you will communicate with customers, lead, and manage projects and provide manufacturing engineering solutions.

What you will get to do:
- Provide excellent engineering solutions and go above and beyond for customers
- Communicate with customers on project updates, conception, cleanups, and progress
- Assist customers with manufacturing or project-based engineering work
- Ensure timeline, budget, and scope are followed for each project
- Explore different parts of the engineering within projects
- Lead projects and project teams in creating solutions for customer issues
- Customize your growth path and work with coach to develop a 5 and 10-year plan including relevant trainings, certifications, and opportunities
- Participate on DISHER internal project teams
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing or similar degree
- 4+ years of engineering experience
- Experience working with a diverse range of industries
- Manufacturing experience working on decommissioning, instillation, updates to lines, and organizational changes to processes
- Strong communication skills to update and build rapport with customers
- Exposure to Quality or PM systems and documentation
- Hands on knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes
- Understanding of moving, purchasing, some designing (small scale tooling/fixtures for example), and implementation of equipment
- Willingness to step onto the floor and be hands on when needed
- Previous experience worked with quality teams and ability to take quality into account when thinking through runs, lines, and throughputs of installations
- Willingness to do what it takes to provide exceptional service and grow the team
- Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations
