ABB Controls Engineer (Contract) - Grand Haven, MI
DISHER is partnering with a customer seeking a Senior ABB Controls Engineer for a contract position supporting the installation and commissioning of a new system. This role will focus on supporting the team during install regarding programming, integration, and startup of ABB control systems.
What you will get to do:
- Provide final approvals and information needed before install.
- Work individually and collectively regarding pre-install and install with a team.
- Commission and test ABB control systems.
- Design and develop ABB control systems as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABB.
What will make you successful:
- Extensive experience with ABB control systems and robotics.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related field.
- More than 5 years of experience.
- Experience in documenting engineering process and technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with clients and teams.
