Purpose
Ensure Compliance for Divergent and Information Security. This is part of the three pillars of I.T. and a crucial role.

The Role
•Be a primary point of contact for all information technology security needs.
•Scope, implement and maintain security solutions.
•Map security practices, SOPs, solutions, and configurations to security compliance standards such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
•Thoroughly document above to a standard that exceeds relevant requirements and is easily readable by interested parties.
•Identify all gaps in security, with special attention paid to standards gaps. Implement and/or bring solutions to the I.T. Security Manager and Head of I.T. as appropriate.
•Maintain vendor relationships for security platforms and specialists.
•Work with cross-functional teams including the software team to ensure implemented solutions maintain security standards.
•Thoroughly test and validate deployed solutions for functional requirements.
•Maintain and be the primary point of contact for security related platforms, such as the email gateway and phish-testing training.
•Establish and maintain Divergent’s Information Security posture. Perform regular audits to ensure company-wide compliance with Information Security Standards
•Look for and manage trends as it relates to security.
•Be a frontline advocate for Information Security Operational Excellence. Develop and distribute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are relevant to InfoSec
•Ensure continuous improvement by regularly updating SOPs and communicating them to all relevant parties within the company.
•Stay up to date with security best practices. 
•Work to educate the I.T. team, leadership, and the company on the whole for security best practices.
•Operate in a manner demonstrating a high level of integrity, ethics, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
•Respond to security incidents and triage.
•Escalate security incidents or gaps as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications
•BA/BS in Technology Field
•5+ years experience (10 for Sr.)

Preferred Qualifications
•Masters in Information Security
•Relevant Industry Certifications

$134,640 - $168,300 a year
