Responsibilities:

•Lead the design and optimization of processes to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize process flow for additive manufacturing, automation, coating, CNC machining, and general assembly.
•Develop innovative manufacturing technology to support fabrication processes, ensuring repeatability, reliability, and safety.
•Conduct thorough process qualifications, including Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analyses, to validate manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and improve product quality.
•Champion the integration of additive manufacturing technologies into manufacturing processes, leveraging advanced materials and printing techniques to optimize component fabrication and assembly.
•Provide technical expertise and mentorship to engineering teams, guiding the development and implementation of best practices for additive manufacturing, automation, coating, CNC machining, and general assembly.
•Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on manufacturing operations and recommending strategic investments to maintain competitiveness.

Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
•7+ years of experience in senior-level manufacturing engineering roles in the additive, automotive, aerospace, or other major industry. Experience with first article & qualification builds, factory layout design, process optimization, and tooling development in metallic manufacturing environments.
•Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, AutoCAD) for factory layout design and tooling development.
•Extensive knowledge of metallic manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, and finishing techniques.
•Strong understanding of coating applications, additive support removal methodologies, and general assembly processes.
•Experience with process qualification methodologies, including DOE, statistical analysis, and validation protocols.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
•Knowledge of automotive/aerospace design concepts and tooling design best practices

Preferred Qualifications:
•Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
•In-depth knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, and automation.
•Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
•Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or defense industries is a plus.
•Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
