Job Description:
Divergent Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Support Removal Technician to join our additive manufacturing team. The Support Removal Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our additively manufactured aluminum components. This position offers significant growth potential.
Shift Availability:
6am to 2:30pm
2:30pm-11pm
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform support removal operations on additively manufactured aluminum components using hammers, chisels, pencil grinders, and sanders.
•Ensure completed parts are detailed and entirely free of support material.
•Track and perform routine maintenance on equipment used daily in additive manufacturing production.
•Adhere to all safety guidelines and always ensure proper use of PPE.
•Collaborate with team members to continuously improve support removal processes and overall production quality.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
•Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as hammers, chisels, pencil grinders, and sanders.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
•Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
