Are you interested in exploring the world of public relations and communications? Edelman HK is launching a Graduate Trainee programme for fresh graduates who has strong interest in developing their early careers within this industry.
By joining our programme, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of PR and communications, gaining valuable hands-on experience and invaluable knowledge from seasoned professionals.
What You Will Be Working On
- Implement and monitor projects within a specific set of clients under the direction of senior team members.
- Work closely with and support the needs of the client servicing teams. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Media relations – media monitoring, schedule and coordinate with third parties on events, assist with preparation of press kits, update media list and assist with compilation of reports.
- Work closely with senior team members on multiple industries, media landscape research studies across a variety of industries and clients and Edelman internal initiatives.
- Assist with project set-up and coordination with multiple service providers.
- Familiarity with press release writing, draft pitch emails, conduct and compile research as directed by supervisors.
- Work closely with digital team on social media content creation, research and identify suitable KOL and influencer for clients' campaign.
- Support on on-site events, including preparation logistics, on-site media tour, and reporting.
- Help prepare informal and formal client reports and presentation materials.
What We Are Looking from You
- Recent university graduate in Public Relations & Communications, Language & Translation, Marketing, Economics or Business focus is preferred.
- Good team player with excellent spoken and written English and Chinese is a must, fluency in mandarin is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, attention to detail with strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently.
- Intern/ work experience at PR agency or in-house marketing/communications role is a plus.
- Intern/ work e experience in media and communications industries is a plus.
