This is an exciting opportunity for a process-oriented, go-getter who wants to become a key part of a forward-thinking team as a Director, Project Management. The Director, Project Management is responsible for the day-to-day management of creative marketing, advertising, and PR initiatives in partnership with account colleagues. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be devoted to providing top-notch internal client service and is committed to seeing the big picture, while keeping an eye on the small details.  As the Director, Project Management, your primary role is to bring an integrated team’s vision to life within the scope of the project. Oftentimes at the center of complex initiatives, you will lead the integration of creative components from account, planners, designers, copywriters, producers, and social media strategists (among others). You will be the common thread on projects, managing schedules and deliverables on all initiatives. In addition, this role may have some client contact.
 
Our Project Managers help define scope, budget, key milestones, timelines, and deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that project deliverables connect with creative intent, meet time specifications and quality goals. 

Responsibilities:

    • Manages multiple, high-complexity projects or programs on assigned account(s), new business and internal initiatives when needed
    • Defines project approach, scope, budgets, timelines, and resource/OOP estimates in partnership with Discipline leads
    • Partners with Discipline to identify project resources and allocations necessary 
    • Partners with agency account and discipline leads and finance to build timelines and scopes that meet the creative and production needs of the agency and client
    • Actively manages project timing and resource assignments in Excel
    • Assist and evangelize the eventual implementation of project management software
    • Prepares and maintains clear, accurate project documentation, including project plan, status report, budgets, and resource requests/assignments
    • Schedules internal meetings, defines the agenda, and provides actionable recaps to cross functional team
    • Proactively identifies risks, monitors issues, and provides mitigation/contingency plans throughout project lifestyle
    • Demonstrated ability to distill complex information into a clear, concise format as needed to aid team decision making
    • Effectively manages change and able to influence team to adopt best practices/process improvements
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and improving efficiency; coordinates and implements solutions within team
    • Champions and follows agency best practices on assigned projects and assigned account(s)
    • Builds meaningful relationships with team members and discipline leads

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of progressive project management and operations experience in managing 360 integrated and digital programs.
    • Experience communicating brand requirements, milestones, and priorities to third-party stakeholders
    • Assertive, proactive, and solution-oriented AND willing to throw the PM rulebook out the window to solve the problem at hand
    • Agile, flexible, used to quick demands
    • Demonstrate effective communication and analytical skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including 365 and Teams
    • Experience using project management/workflow and resourcing software
    • Ability to communicate and work closely across multiple disciplines at all levels, including but not limited to Creative, Finance, Account Management, Talent & Influencer, Senior Leadership, etc. 
    • Assess requirements of a project to inform scope, manage concurrent timelines, and oversee the specific deliverables to ensure projects are executed seamlessly
    • Proficient in directing, securing, reviewing, and providing quality control on deliverables prepared by outside vendors
    • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant experience required
PAY RANGE: $65,000​ - $94,000​
 
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
