We are looking for a confident and experienced Manager to join our Consultancy (Technology) team. This role oversees overall account team performance, ensuring excellent client service and quality delivery across multiple large-scale projects. We seek a trusted partner with deep expertise in technology, capable of aligning our and our clients’ integrated communications with broader business objectives.
What you will be doing:
- Overall responsibility in managing and delivering fully integrated campaigns exceeding client expectations and building reputation for Edelman’s Technology practice.
- Leads research, planning, creative ideation, and development of comprehensive integrated communications campaigns.
- Ability to manage large projects, as well as teams, on multiple sizable accounts.
- Demonstrates writing excellence when crafting internal and client correspondence, communications plans, press materials, new business proposals, etc.
- Tracks and monitors project financials (e.g., budget vs. actual) and meet client revenue targets.
- Grows account organically by introducing clients to relevant Edelman capabilities, including resources outside of the group, to advance their business goals.
- Grows network of industry clients and participates in relevant professional organizations and networking activities that will grow Edelman’s brand recognition and own reputation.
- Initiates new business processes, including identifying new business opportunities and helping lead the RFP response process
- Displays strong presentation skills.
- Mentors, coaches and supports all team members and ensures staff develop abilities through Edelman Learning Institute and other training, including on-the-job training and mentoring.
What is required of you:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, agency work, or related fields such as research, media, or publishing.
- Understanding of global sector trends, with a focus on the Asia / Southeast Asia region and the ability to draw insights from this understanding to counsel clients.
- Stays up to date with emerging technologies and trends and demonstrates an understanding of how they integrate into communications programs.
- Superior writing and verbal communications skills, specifically with the purpose of writing to persuade; demonstrated ability to effectively multitask, delegate and manage assignments and accurately evaluate others’ work.
- Strong communication – active listening and ability to persuade and negotiate.
- Confidence in presenting ideas and providing counsel to internal and external audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to manage competing interests, and high emotional intelligence.
