The Role
 
The Senior Business Affair Manager role will support DJE’s content, talent, and influencer teams.  The role sits within the UK Business Affairs department, reporting to the Director of Business Affairs, UK. This is a 6 month contract starting asap with a view to go permanent.

Responsibilities:

    • Day-to-day management of specific projects, inclusive of dialogue with creative/production/Influencer colleagues or relevant stakeholders.
    • Support teams to implement agency policy and process regarding risk management, third party contract management and production workflow.
    • Review client SOW drafts and creative decks for legal, compliance, and risk callouts. Communicate callouts and collaborate with stakeholders until resolved. 
    • Facilitate and review agreements including but not limited to talent, celebrity, influencer and brand partnerships.
    • A high degree of confidentiality and discretion are expected in regard- to all matters and documents.
    • Experience navigating redlines reviews and facilitating contracts conversations between stakeholders to close deals.

Job Specifications /Qualifications:

    • Experience working in Integrated and Influencer Marketing, with significant related work experience in an agency business affairs environment.
    • Knowledge and experience of working in an agency environment, understanding the needs, and managing the expectations, of key stakeholders.
    • Established understanding of legal contract provisions especially licensing vs assignment/ownership
    • Fundamental knowledge of regulatory considerations, compliance obligations, and IP/Ad law.
    • Ability to identify legal issues from an early stage and manage and communicate associated risks.
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing urgent deadlines while setting expectations with colleagues, organizing, and reporting a variety of details.
    • Able to work on multiple and often complex projects, with minor daily oversite, taking ownership and accountability over job-related requirements and duties.
    • Awareness of when to escalate to legal or management.
    • Able to develop strong working relationships with in-house teams and external vendors.
    • Able to demonstrate and model collaboration and problem solving with a solution driven outlook.
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Clear and concise communication skills
