We are seeking a visionary, connector, and results-driven Executive Vice President (EVP) of Gaming Content and Publishing to lead our efforts in partnership with our clients and teams to shape the future of gaming content creation, distribution, and engagement with our gaming community, creators, analysts, and media.

As the EVP of Gaming Content and Publishing, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with our clients in defining and executing their content and publishing strategy to drive growth, engagement, and brand recognition across their gaming portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality content across multiple studios while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize publishing processes and ensure the delivery of immersive experiences to our players.

Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive gaming content and publishing strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and goals. Drive innovation in content creation, distribution, and engagement to elevate our gaming brand's market presence.
    • Content Development: Lead the conceptualization, creation, and curation of diverse gaming content, that elevates our market presence and experience with our customer population. Ensure content meets quality standards, resonates with target audiences, and aligns with our brand identity.
    • Publishing Excellence: Oversee the publishing lifecycle, including planning, release, marketing, and post-launch support. Implement best practices for game launches, updates, and community engagement to enhance player satisfaction and retention.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize efforts and ensure a seamless content and publishing pipeline.
    • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and emerging best practices in gaming content and publishing.
    • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of content and publishing initiatives. Regularly analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions and iterate strategies.
    • Leadership and Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with external partners, such as influencers, and content creators, to explore co-development opportunities, expand distribution channels, and enhance the gaming ecosystem.
    • Earned Mindset: Understand and execute earned-centric campaigns and storytelling efforts to elevate the brand narrative and help keep the brand top-of-mind within a competitive landscape.

Basic Qualifications:

    • 12+ years of experience in senior leadership roles within the gaming industry, with a focus on content creation, publishing, and distribution.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field;

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing gaming titles across multiple platforms.
    • In-depth knowledge of gaming trends, player preferences, and emerging technologies.
    • Understanding of the gaming media landscape, including awareness of the most influential voices driving gaming coverage across industry, tech, lifestyle, and enthusiast outlets.
    • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the aptitude to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • A visionary leader with a passion for gaming, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of entertainment.
$183,000 - $279,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
