Assembly Media, Inc. is looking for an account executive level community manager to join as a core member of the Assembly team. This person will be responsible for supporting social media programs on behalf of Microsoft.
As a community manager, you will be the brand’s eyes and ears on social and will partner closely with internal and client teams in content ideation and copywriting. You will bring social-first thinking to a team of account and client teams to develop, manage, and post approved social content, proactively flag opportunities for engagement, and provide recommendations based on what the community is saying.
To be successful in this role, you will have solid social writing, editing and publishing skills with an appreciation for how social media impacts the overall customer experience. You will be flexible and agile and will be able to work collaboratively with all internal and client teams to ensure that the brand’s communication objectives and strategies are met.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with audiences across social platforms, from LinkedIn to TikTok, including publishing of content and interactions
- Exemplify the brand voice and tone in all community interactions
- Craft copy and support asset development for social posts, considering inclusive language, images, and headlines across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Threads and Facebook
- Maintain workflows and processes for community management and escalations, including directly with clients
- Work with the internal and client teams on brainstorms and quick-turn social moments
- Exhibit strong cultural competency and the ability to identify trends and opportunities
- Manage and organize content and assets as needed within platforms or tools such as Sprinklr, Khoros or Hootsuite
- Proactively flag opportunities for the brand and escalate issues as needed in a timely matter
- Work with analytics to provide learnings and recommendations based on current trends in the community and industry
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience in digital, community management, or social media related efforts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid grasp of core social media platforms (LinkedIn TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Twitter, etc.) and how they are used
- Passion for social media, from both a branding and cultural perspective, and an understanding of content best practices across social channels
- Curiosity and interest in emerging media, new formats, and the ways audiences adopt them
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Khoros, Sprinklr, Hootsuite
- Great writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines in a dynamic, social-first environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Microsoft and social event experience a plus
$50,000 - $65,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
