Edelman Australia is on the lookout for an energetic, creative and earned media focused Senior Account Manager to join our business and work across some of our largest integrated clients.

This awesome role will give the successful applicant the opportunity to work with innovative Australian and global brands; covering brand, travel, social impact and lifestyle.

Requirements

    • Solid media relationships, especially (but not mandatory) within travel and food.
    • A team-first mindset, with the ability to lead and assist in the training of less experienced team members.
    • A positive, can-do attitude and the desire to have and encourage a work/life balance.
    • A strong desire to work on campaigns that transcend traditional PR and encompass all aspects of integrated communications, including creative content, social media and digital executions.
    • A deep knowledge of the industries you’re passionate about.
    • A passion for informing your team/peers about trends, new media, influencers, etc.
    • Impeccable written and verbal communications skills.
    • The ability to think outside the box and the space that lies beyond that.
    • An agency mindset and desire to grow and learn with Edelman Australia and within the global network.
    • The desire to be part of an award-winning agency, managing and working with a talented team of professionals locally and globally. You will learn from mentors who are pioneering new thinking in public relations and digital communication.
    • At least five years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing.
    • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
    • Proven ability to manage large projects and manage teams on multiple sizable accounts.
$85,000 - $90,000 a year
