As an Account Director in the UK, you'll serve as the driving force behind the development, adaptation, and delivery of specialised performance services to our clients. This pivotal role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with the UK Performance lead to leverage global expertise and customise offerings that cater specifically to the unique needs to clients. 
Moreover, you'll serve as a consultant and strategist for our clients, working in tandem with the broader performance team in EMEA. You will actively participate in shaping strategies, driving new business, developing innovative approaches, and executing campaigns that drive client success. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting new business efforts, contributing your insights and expertise to secure new opportunities in the market. You'll collaborate extensively with local teams, employing a keen eye to identify market opportunities and tailor services to address them effectively. 


    • Develop and execute performance marketing strategies for various industries and clients 
    • Work on new business opportunities, contributing your insights and expertise to secure performance marketing projects 
    • Manage 3+ team members 
    • Define performance offerings, strategies across specialties, collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver results 
    • Unlock opportunities within existing Edelman clients in the UK and wider EMEA region in collaboration with other markets leaders 
    • Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, working independently while managing a diverse workload 

Basic Requirements:

    • Extensive knowledge of Paid Media platforms and Analytics tools. 
    • Ability to translate data into impactful strategies for clients. 

Preferred Requirements:

    • Proven track record in building and executing performance marketing strategies 
    • Collaborative approach, integrating insights across performance specialties 
    • Experience in managing and developing junior members of the team 
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, simplifying complex solutions for internal and external stakeholders 
    • Strong organisational skills, efficiently managing multiple responsibilities 
    • Prior experience in media agency roles preferred; in-house experience also valued
