The Financial Analyst role facilitates client billing, entry into financial analysis, and client project financial reporting. The analyst will review monthly client revenue and cost and assist in the management of client or department financials. 

Responsibilities:

    • Administer billing process, including fee reconciliation and client invoicing
    • Ensure timely submission of invoices and supporting documents to client
    • Calculate and track monthly revenue based on active contracts and corresponding scope of work
    • Facilitate the negotiation of client contracts with the account staff and legal department
    • Analyze trends
    • Review and approve client budgets
    • Support client reporting, audit requests, and data collection
    • Process purchase orders and run financial queries upon request
    • Approve time and expense write-offs and follow up on unbilled WIP
    • Review missing time reports weekly and follow up on delinquencies
    • Prepare and review staff utilization reports and flag issues for management
    • Ensure department compliance with company financial policies (revenue recognition, job requisitions, time entry, travel and expense, billing, accounts payable, and new business)
    • Train account staff on internal finance systems, procedures, and financial project management 

Basic Qualifications:

    • At least 1+ years of Finance or Accounting experience in Client Services Industry and/or related fields
    • A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with PeopleSoft desired
    • Extensive billing management experience 
$42,000 - $70,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
