We are seeking a passionate self-starter, who’s fluent in navigating the agency landscape, to help lead the strategic development of new business opportunities at UEG. Part growth strategy, part operations and project management, this is an exciting role to drive change at a leading agency working closely with leadership. 
 
The ideal candidate for the role has agency experience identifying, prospecting and successfully pursuing new business opportunities, vetting, and responding to RFPs, and providing strategic counsel to Executives. They are interested in driving efficiencies, examining how we present ourselves externally, and motivating teams to provide the best possible solutions for clients.  This person must wear many hats, both internal and external, and have an adaptable nature. The role requires a leader who can deliver innovative thinking, help teams author smart decks, troubleshoot process as well as oversee the agency’s financial investment in their new business pipeline. 
 
This role will report directly into the EVP, US Head of Client Strategy and be based in New York City. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Partner with the EVP, US Head of Client Strategy, to develop and help lead a best-in-class strategy for growing revenue for UEG, both organic and net new. 
    • Manage work-streams to ensure executional excellence of pitches and proposals; manage cross-functional teams to ensure that the best of UEG is reflected in our proposal product.   
    • Measure and manage our pitch pipeline and win rate 
    • Work with marketing to ensure UEG executes business-growth minded external and internal marketing to improve opportunities. 
    • Help with scoping opportunities and ensure we are pitching the right opportunities. 
    • Help maintain relationships with senior-level client contacts, colleagues, and external partners. 
    • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of your own leadership, strategy, and project management skills. 
    • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with our firm’s values. 

QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 8+ years of agency experience relevant to the role and industry with strong work examples and references demonstrating an exemplary leader who can drive agency growth.
    • Experience leading multi-practice teams toward a common deliverable on frequently accelerated timeframes. 
    • Strong relationship builder, able to cultivate a strong network internally and externally on behalf of UEG 
    • A keen understanding of financial and operational performance of multiple sizable projects to ensure quality work, deadline and budget adherence.  
    • Superior written and verbal communications skills along with the proven ability to consistently make sound judgments and effectively motivate and manage teams.   
    • Strong collaborator and mentor with the ability to bring out the best in agency talent to produce great work for clients.  
    • Passion for pop-culture/insights and trends. 
$79,000 - $116,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
