As a Generalist in Japan People Team, you will play a key role in building the world-class employee experience in Japan, supporting the local leaders in growing the business through a wide range of people initiatives, executing HR operations including payroll and HRIS as well as attracting talent through creative in-house sourcing activities.  

You will work with multiple stakeholders to develop and implement programs that look at talent attraction, retention, engagement, learning and development, health management (health committee, medical check-ups), the building of culture, diversity equity, and inclusion (DEI), Future of Work, and performance management. You will also be responsible for the flawless execution of HR activities related to recruitment, internship, local onboarding, and immigration progress. You are expected to drive best practices, and change management initiatives, and continuously strive to improve processes to ensure alignment with business objectives, strategies, and internal/external trends.

We are looking for talent who is fluent in Japanese and English, has experience in talent acquisition, and has at least 5 years of relevant experience as a People generalist or in an operational HR role. Talent who is fluent in a third language will have an added advantage.
