We’re seeking a Brand Experience Project Director to lead the development and activation of experiential programs for high-profile clients. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing campaigns from concept to execution—integrating strategy, creative, production, and client management—while driving operational rigor, mentoring project teams, and delivering measurable impact.  The ideal candidate is both a client-facing leader and a project operations expert: someone who can balance creative ambition with financial discipline, resolve challenges with confidence, and inspire teams to deliver best-in-class brand experiences. 

Key Responsibilities


    • Client & Campaign Leadership 
    • Serve as primary client lead, delivering excellent service, strategic guidance, and trusted partnership. 
    • Develop and present innovative experiential concepts and solutions that integrate across multiple channels and drive measurable KPIs.
    • Lead critical conversations with clients and stakeholders, providing perspective, clear options, and recommendations that result in informed decisions. 

    • Program & Project Management 
    • Manage the intake and scoping process for complex programs, creating clear project plans, budgets, and staffing models.
    • Oversee program delivery from kickoff through wrap-up, ensuring all project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.
    • Confidently manage conflict resolution across stakeholders, escalating only when necessary. 
    • Identify and implement operational best practices and efficient workflows that improve outcomes and profitability. 
    • Oversee vendor sourcing, contracting, and management to ensure compliance, quality, and value. 

    • Financial Management 
    • Partner with Finance to update forecasts, track cash flow, manage purchase orders, and monitor out-of-pocket expenses. 
    • Lead all post-program financial reconciliation and reporting, including identifying learnings and efficiencies for future programs. 

    • Team Leadership & Culture 
    • Delegate effectively across team members, while providing mentorship and coaching to junior and mid-level project managers. 
    • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that reflects Edelman leadership values: trust, operational rigor, conscious inclusivity, and empathy. 
    • Actively model and embed the One Edelman mindset, Action Method, and Core Values into daily work. 

Qualifications

    • 6–8 years of experience in brand experience, experiential marketing, or event production (agency experience strongly preferred). 
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 
    • Proven track record developing and executing large-scale experiential campaigns with strong measurable results. 
    • Strong project management skills with ability to scope, budget, forecast, and deliver complex programs. 
    • Skilled in vendor and partner management, including contracts, compliance, and production oversight. 
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and foster trust. 
    • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and making decisive, informed decisions. 
    • Knowledge of blending digital and physical experiences to create seamless, engaging audience interactions.

$80,000 - $120,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
