Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing (Food & Beverage)

Edelman has an exciting opportunity for an Influence-minded, Senior Manager across critical food and beverage accounts. This vital position will contribute to the daily account management for several of the Influencer and Content Creator Programs. It will focus on digital influencers and content creators and the work the brands are doing to engage this ever-growing and significant audience to increase awareness of their products and services.
 
The Senior Manager position requires strong account management and project management skills, the ability to support busy accounts, including managing competing priorities and serving as a daily counterpart to clients, and a background in influencers and/or content creators. 

Responsibilities (Planning):

    • Ongoing ideation, campaign development, support, and strategic consultation around major initiatives and key moments to produce creative content executions for the U.S. but that can also be leveraged globally
    • Work as part of integrated teams, infusing influencers into PR and paid programs 
    • Build and maintain relationships with contacts across Edelman divisions
    • Analyze industry trends, comparing competitive activities and opportunities
    • Serve as an integral member of the team by contributing to ongoing reports and ongoing cross-company efforts in concert with other agencies and teams 

Responsibilities (Campaign Management):

    • Jump into existing workstreams across the client and develop and apply actionable strategies for engaging relevant content creators and influencers
    • Prepare and present campaign briefings/updates/recaps for clients 
    • Drive new business or incremental opportunities within existing accounts to build brand awareness
    • Drives internal operational excellence programs to create new offerings, streamline processes, and continue internal education growth
    • Identify new content creators by vertical and category
    • Effectively budget new scopes of work on large pieces of business
    • Compile and maintain influencer profiles in our proprietary tech platforms
    • Maintain thoughtful relationships with select influencers to gauge ongoing sentiment and engagement opportunities
    • When appropriate, oversee and negotiate contracts with influencers on behalf of clients
    • When appropriate, oversee and negotiate necessary travel arrangements via travel agent vendor for influencers
    • Oversee and execute the creation of briefing materials for influencers and for clients
    • When appropriate, coordinate with influencers on deliverables
    • Work with internal specialists and oversee and recommend enhanced paid and analytics plans 

Basic Qualifications:

    • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields
    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with influencer management agencies for emerging and established bloggers/vloggers and consumer influencers, as well as celebrities
    • Strong digital strategy and content skills, with a proven track record working with large brands in the digital and social space
    • Strong client skills, along with proven ability to develop and manage complex influencer marketing programs from micro to mid- and top-tier
    • Familiar with influencer marketing contracts and legal requirements
    • Experience working in food and beverage brands preferred
$65,000 - $94,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
