You'll manage relationships with financial partners to boost approval rates, reduce costs, and lower latency. This cross-functional role involves collaborating with internal teams to accelerate merchant go-lives and ensure continuous operational improvements.
What will I be doing?
- Execute day-to-day partner and processor operations: onboarding checklists, credential updates, configuration changes, sandbox and production readiness checks, migration coordination, and go-live playbooks.
- Triage and track incidents and tickets; run standard root-cause workflows with partners and internal teams; document findings and ensure timely follow-ups per SLAs.
- Coordinate with Business Assurance to relay partner feedback, apply market-specific practices, and maintain continuity for live merchants.
- Support enablement by preparing pricing or SLA inputs, requesting feature toggles, validating new payment flows in UAT, and completing evidence collection for change approvals.
- Assist with the fines and mandates process: collect evidence, track submissions, and ensure operational steps for scheme mandates are reflected in configs and playbooks.
- Provide merchant-facing operational support during integrations and go-lives: perform configuration validation, test flows, run hypercare checklists, and act as the first escalation point for CS and AM teams.
- Monitor performance and routing dashboards; compile weekly insights on rejection reasons, performance variances, and optimization opportunities for partner managers and Product.
- Maintain and update the Partner Health Matrix and run scheduled health check updates; log risks, follow action items, and report status to stakeholders.
- Own execution-quality tasks: ensure data accuracy in systems, documentation currency in runbooks, and adherence to change-management protocols.
What skills do I need?
- 3–5 years in payments/fintech operations, partner/processor operations, acquiring, or technical support roles; experience with card schemes and APMs is a plus.
- Familiarity with payment flows and operational concepts (APIs, webhooks, credentials, routing, settlement, reconciliation); ability to follow technical runbooks alongside Product and Engineering.
- Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail; proficient with Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is a plus.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and with external partners.
- Experience working with ticketing and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, alerting/monitoring dashboards) is a plus.
- High ownership, strong organization, and ability to operate across time zones while managing multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; English fluency required (additional languages a plus).
