What’s the opportunity?
As our Global Trader, you will focus on executing foreign exchange (FX) operations across emerging markets, managing market risk, and ensuring effective liquidity management across regions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hedging strategies, cross-border FX flows, and be able to navigate complex and dynamic market environments. This position requires a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and deep market knowledge.
What will you be doing?
- Executing and monitoring global FX operations across multiple emerging markets.
- Designing and implementing hedging strategies to manage currency and liquidity exposures.
- Analyzing macroeconomic and geopolitical factors affecting EM currencies.
- Managing short-term liquidity positioning across entities.
- Optimizing execution quality using trading platforms, direct counterparties, and market data tools.
- Collaborating closely with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Local Market teams to align strategy and execution.
- Maintaining strong relationships with banking partners and trading platforms.
- Executing FX operations and developing strategies using stablecoins, where applicable.
- Preparing and presenting market updates, trading performance, and risk exposure reports.
What skills do you need?
- 3+ years of experience in FX trading, preferably with a focus on emerging markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven knowledge of risk management and hedging techniques in volatile environments.
- Strong understanding of liquidity management and capital flows.
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.
- Fluent English is a must; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of Crypto markets and digital assets is a strong plus.
- Experience working with Bloomberg, 360T, or other trading systems is considered a plus.
- Master’s degree (Finance/Economics or related) is preferred but not mandatory.
