What's the opportunity?

As the Finance Manager for Brazil, you will be responsible for overseeing all local financial operations and ensuring full compliance with Brazilian regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Accounting and Foreign Exchange (FX/e-FX) functions, upholding financial integrity and ensuring alignment with local regulations

What will you be doing?

    • Oversee accounting and all financial operations in Brazil.
    • Ensure full compliance with Brazilian regulatory requirements (Banco Central), acting as a key liaison with regulators, auditors, and external partners.
    • Design and implement financial controls, reporting processes, and strategies aligned with local and global standards.
    • Oversee statutory financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial filings.
    • Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, including FX/e-FX activities, cash allocation, and safeguarding.
    • Partner closely with global Finance and Legal teams to align local practices with broader group strategies.
    • Support business growth initiatives with financial insights and risk assessments.
    • Represent the company in regulatory inspections, board meetings, and industry forums as needed.
    • Serve as the Statutory Director registered with the Central Bank of Brazil (Banco Central do Brasil), ensuring full alignment with local regulatory obligations.

What skills do you need?

    • 8+ years of senior financial leadership experience within regulated financial institutions in Brazil (e.g., banks, payment institutions, fintechs).
    • In-depth knowledge of Brazilian financial regulations (BACEN) with a track record of regulatory engagement.
    • Proven experience in accounting management and in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework governing FX operations.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to build and execute scalable financial frameworks.
    • Hands-on leadership style, capable of both operational deep dives and high-level financial strategy.
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, both internally and externally.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • A master's degree, an MBA, or a CPA/CRC certification is a strong plus.
    • SAP knowledge is a plus.
    • Full professional fluency in English is required.
