As a Software Engineer I with Dun & Bradstreet, you will deliver highly-available, low-latency RESTful APIs using cutting-edge technologies deployed to the cloud. You’ll be working in a stimulating, collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement within an agile development process, where developers are responsible for end-to-end working software.

We’re looking for someone who has software engineering skills and a proven track record of delivering creative, high-quality solutions. You’re able to prioritize well, communicate clearly and bring an analytic approach to producing innovative solutions.

As part of the Direct+ team, you'll;

    • Develop and drive delivery of platform capabilities to meet business requirements
    • Validate solutions using proof of concepts and prototypes
    • Write simple code (low maintenance, extensibility, test-ability and performance)
    • Collaborate with the team to take advantage of new concepts/technologies

About you;

    • You'll have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
    • You'll have 2+ years of experience developing commercial software
    • You'll have an understanding of Cloud computing concepts
    • You'll be self-led with an ability to work in a collaborative team environment
    • You'll have experience of Web Service Development, preferably REST using JSON
    • You'll  have expertise in Java, Spring (SpringBoot, Core), Microservices, Junit (Mockito) and Maven
    • You'll have an understanding of object-oriented design and programming methodologies
    • You'll have good analytical and problem-solving skills
